G-Field Recorder is a robust data acquisition and analysis system designed for iOS devices. The app enables users to log, plot, and replay various metrics, including 3-axis acceleration fields, rotational displacements, ground speed, altitude, distance, displacement, and course.

It serves a wide array of purposes such as facilitating experiment analysis, tracking sports performance, monitoring drone behavior, evaluating land vehicle and watercraft actions, enhancing security applications, and studying structural behaviors.

All user data is stored directly on the device, granting users complete control over its retention, sharing, or deletion. Additionally, data files can be effortlessly exported in CSV format through AirDrop or numerous other methods such as Slack, email, or LinkedIn.

Originally developed for NASA payloads, G-Field Recorder boasts resilience against data loss due to impacts by continuously saving data to permanent storage. This feature ensures data integrity even in the event of severe damage to the device—like a drone crash.
